Martha “Omi” Rushing, age 85, passed away February 17, 2016. She was the beloved wife for 60 years of Willo D. Rushing; loving mother of Robert D. (Michelle Keydel) Rushing and Kenneth D. (Carolyn) Rushing; devoted Omi of Shaun, Ryan, Terrance, Holliann, and Jacob; Step-Omi of Ben, Amanda, Brian, Kyle, and Stacy; proud great-grandmother of 13; and dear sister of Ruth (Bill) Boynton.
Omi was passionate when it came to tending to her gardens; she just loved her flowers and her lawn. Above all, she cherished her family and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her memory and influence will live on and be celebrated by both family and friends.
