Martean J Cowie

Beloved wife of the late Grant E. Cowie, Jr. Loving mother of Louis (Janet) Pesta and Sandra (Bruce) Van Hee. Dear sister of Herman (Mickey) Stroer. Cherished grandmother of Charles (Jan) Papineau, Michael (Shelly) Pesta, Terrence (Tina) Papineau, Linda Monendo, Lisa (Scott) Burmann, Renee (John) Cirillo and Shannon (Chris) Voakes. Great-grandmother of eleven.

Martean was very active in her community, taking part in several volunteering positions. She volunteered with Meals on Wheels, Toys For Tots, Mt. Clemens General Hospital and the Goodfellows. She was also treasurer for the Daughters of Isabella and was "Volunteer of the Year."

Visitation is Thursday at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield, Clinton Twp. from 3-9pm with a rosary at 7pm. Instate Friday 10:30am until the time of Mass at 11am at St. Thecla Catholic Church in Clinton Twp. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery.
