Marie Lucille Ford

Marie Lucille Ford, age 87, passed away on August 18, 2021. She is survived by her children Larry (Brenda) Ford, Michael (JoAnn) Ford and Keith Ford; grandchildren Sharyn (Scott Thompson) Ford, Steven Ford, Shannon Ahern, Jason Ford, Melissa (Antoine) Weible, Matthew Ford, Kristy (fiancé Charles Kanouse) Ford, Daniel (Deseree) Ford, Justine (Travis) Lackey; she leaves behind fourteen great-grandchildren with one arriving in October and one great-great-grandchild. Marie also leaves behind her brother; Gene (Lorraine) Franklin and sister-in-law, Shelby Franklin as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Marie was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Reverend William Thomas Ford; son Phillip Mark Ford; great-grand-daughter Madison; siblings James Franklin, Jeff Franklin, Pearl Franklin and her parents, Garfield (Lilly) Franklin.

Marie was a devoted wife and mother. She had a wonderful green thumb and could grow anything. She was a dedicated Reverend’s wife, and helped her husband create the church community she cherished and loved at Eastside Freewill Baptist Church in Warren, Michigan. Marie was a loving grandma and great-grandma. She loved to crochet, quilting and can her own home-grown vegetables, fruit, and jellies.

Visitation and funeral services will be held at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Township, MI 48035. Visitation will be on Sunday, August 22, 2021 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm, with a funeral service at 7:00 pm. A burial will occur at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Blairsville, Georgia.
