Mr. Lawrence N. Whitaker, age 79. Passed away August 6, 2011. He was born March 14, 1932. He retired from the Army after 40 years of service. He was a member of Olive Branch Masonic Lodge, #542, F.&A.M. He was a long time member of the Cliniton Township Senior Center. He is survived by his wife Rose, Step-children Steven (Sandra) Sands, Dennis (Rosann) Jalbert, Paul (Sheryl) Jalbert, Rosemarie Jalbert, and Suzanne Champine. Also, nine grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, 2-9:00PM with a Masonic Service 8:00PM. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday instate 9:30AM until time of mass at 10:00AM at St. Therese of Lisieux (Schoenherr n. of 21 mi) Burial will be at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery, Clinton township, MI.
