For over 50 wonderful years, Keith shared his life with his beloved wife, Kathryn, creating a lifetime of cherished memories together. Their love for travel took them to many corners of the world, where they explored new cultures, landscapes, and experiences hand in hand. They shared a passion for adventure in the many places they traveled together.
His deep faith was the foundation of his life. As a longtime member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Clinton Township, Michigan, Keith was devoted to his faith community, serving and worshiping with dedication and sincerity. His love for God and commitment to his church were unwavering, and he found joy and peace in his spiritual journey.
Keith was also a man of many interests. He was an avid collector of antiques, finding joy in the history and craftsmanship of the treasures he discovered. His love for plants and flowers was deeply rooted in his early years spent working at his family’s flower shop, a place where his appreciation for nature began.
Above all, Keith was a family man. His greatest joy was the time he spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren sharing his wisdom, humor, and love. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the kindness, warmth, and grace he brought to the lives of those around him.
Professionally, Keith dedicated his entire career to Michigan Consolidated Gas Company (MichCon), where he worked as an accountant. His commitment to his work earned him the respect of colleagues and friends. He was proud of his more than 30 years with MichCon and found great fulfillment in his work.
Keith is survived by his wife of 54 years, Kathryn; children, Cynthia (Zachary) Abbott, Lawrence (Carleen) Jordan, Christopher Jordan; grandchildren, Alexis (Bradlee) Carmichael, Madison (Cameron) Stadler, Lauren Abbott; great-grandchildren, Thomas and Zoe Carmichael; siblings, Lawrence (Marlene) Jordan, Janice (Robert) Stier; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Keith will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Kaul Funeral Home. A visitation will be Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 10:00 am until the time of Service at 11:00 am at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035. Burial will be at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, Clinton Township, Michigan.
