Kathleen A. Smith

Kathleen A. Smith, age 85, passed away on February 23, 2021. She leaves behind her husband of 63 years, James R. Smith Sr.; her children, James (Ann Marie) Smith Jr., Timothy Smith (James Wolfe), Colleen (Benjamin) Kitchen, Lisa (Gerald) Schaller, and Linda (Scott) Hunter; her grandchildren, James (Sydney) Kitchen, Christopher (Nicole) Kitchen, David (Amelia) Schaller, Kevin (Kelli) Schaller, Joseph Gerard and Allison Gerard, and eleven great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sister-in- law, Judy Carney.

Kathleen was predeceased by her brothers, Thomas Carney and Jimmy Carney.

Kathleen will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother and missed by her family.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Rd., Clinton Township, MI 48038 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 12311 19 Mile Rd., Sterling Heights, MI 48313. Visitation will be at 10:30 am with a funeral mass at 11:00 am.
