Karen K. Demers, age 64, of Clinton Township, Michigan, passed away on January 5, 2021. She was the beloved wife of Dennis; Loving mother of Daniel, Andrew, Jeffrey, and Kristina; Devoted grandmother of Andrew, Stephen, Dina, Grace, Sargent, Thomas, and Brenden; Dear sister of Linda Papa, Mary Waggoner (Thomas), and dearest sister-in-law of Ronald (Sandy), Betty (Marty) and Marie; Cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews. Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Joan Wensley, and her sister, Janice Ossowski.
Karen leaves behind a legacy of love. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, giving selflessly to those who knew her. She enjoyed jobs that allowed her to care for others over the years, most recently working to help others as a home health aide. Additionally, Karen had a passion for gardening.
A public memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 4-7 PM at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, Michigan 48038. Because of Covid-19 restrictions, there is a limit of 25 people at a time inside, and masks are required. The family is planning a celebration of Karen's life at a picnic this summer when things get better and welcome all to attend.
