Joyce married Miles in march of 1951 and started a family. They were Married 70 years. So many things happened during her 94 (almost 95) years of life. The loss of her father and oldest son, the marriage of her other two children, the loss of her mother who she cared for. The birth of her grandchildren and great grandchildren and the death of her husband in 2021.
Joyce enjoyed doing many things. She worked very hard in her yard and garden and was proud of her flowers, she kept busy bowling, golfing, dancing, scuba diving, crafting, traveling, boating, water skiing, reading, homemaking, cross stitching and working as a Tupperware sales person and interviewer for the university of Michigan social research, and neighborhood watch member. She made many lasting friendships along the way through her neighborhood clubs, her volunteering at the schools, her bible classes and her church families.
