Each year that passes the love grows, realizing that the world will just never be the same. Acknowledgements of the past n how grateful I am gets me through each day. Papa, you’ve always looked out for me and I know you still are. From the time I wake up until the sun sets over the water, life feels so different without you physically being here. I often wonder after seeing you go, what is this life? Is this some kind of sick joke, a Chinese trap? Is it worth going on without you? But I know you want me to keep going. Home is where the heart is and my heart has always been with you. I think about you every day almost all day within every life chore I do. I am thankful for all the times you took me to school, picked me up while I was walking, saved me from being kidnapped, saved buddy from drowning, hosting my grad party, buying my first car, supporting me, taking me fishing, taking me on my first roller coaster (the magnum), being the grill master, building and maintaining a pool for us, always making me laugh, sweating your butt off working hard for the family, teaching lance how to use a ride on lawn mower and how to fix our brakes, thank you for always asking how we’re doing and genuinely caring. Thank you for EVERYTHING Papa. I can hardly wait to see you again. I know you’re up there preparing “a shoe” so when we reunite we will never be apart again. I will miss you until that day comes and when it does I will grab both of your hands and follow you. I love you unconditionally. 

How do I put into words, how bad I feel.  I love this family, so much.  I've always thought of them, as mine.   After seeing all the pictures, they have  so many memories,  love and closeness to share with each other.  I have known Joe & Pat for over 50 years, and I thank God for all the good times we shared.  I will never forget how Joe & I use to disagree about the Hockey teams.  Or how he use to scare my son when he was little.  He will be deeply missed.  Lee & I will always be there for Pat, Chrissie, Karen, Jenny and the whole family.

Papa was always so kind to me and always made me laugh whenever I’d see him! I remember going out on his boat when I was little and it’s still a favorite memory of mine today.  My heart goes out to his loved ones ❤️

I know now that you are at peace and not suffering and everything was supposed to go this way for a reason...I also know that reason...and so does MaMa. Joe was the Big Brother you wanted- the Friend you needed- the role model you deserve! His devotion to Pat and the girls-the grandkids, tirelessly devoting his time to provide... and still found time and heart for us-his friends... saving Bill and steering him down the right path.... We loved him and will miss him. Be strong girls.... we’ll be here whenever you need us

I was really sad to hear that Joe had passed away. Knowing he will be missed by family and friends. I thought of a few great memories we shared and felt lucky to have known him.  When I think of strong, smart and someone full of personality it was Joe. Remember that smile and his strength are with all of you. Sorry for your  loss.

My sweet Papa, I never thought this day would come that I suffer the greatest loss of my life. You mean everything to me Papa. I really prayed for you to heal and come home to us but I know you fought so hard to stay with us as long as you could. I’ll forever carry you in my heart with your laugh and words of wisdom in my head. You always made family your number one priority in life and you wanted nothing more than to see us all be happy. You made me happy Papa. You’re a legend. If lance could be just HALF the man you were, I promise to marry him. There was never a stronger love than you and Mema.  I will leave a special seat open for you at my wedding. You helped me with every aspect of my life from the time I was born and I promise to share with Josella all of the inspiration you gave me. You gave us all such a great life and I’ll  forever be thankful for you and Mema. I’ll be taking Josie to that same fishing dock one day where you used to take me out on the boat. I look for signs that you’re with me Papa. I will always feel like I need more time with you but that would be selfish if you can be comfortable at peace while you’re watching from above.  I have so much to show you that I think will make you proud, I wish that I was able to show you much much sooner in life but I know you’ll be more comfortable watching from above.. just like you used to say about baseball games (better view at home on your screen)!  Everything that makes me smile can relate to you in some way. I promise you Papa, Lance and I will be there for Mema whenever she needs or wants us to be. This is not goodbye, I can never say goodbye to you. I will see you again when it is my time and we will talk conspiracy’s and watch movies. Holidays will be hard but please just be there, I wont be scared. Life won’t be the same without you but I’m trying to find comfort in knowing we have you’re other half, and that is sweet Mema. I hope your wings are gold and heaven is all you want it to be. Love you

Sorry Pat to heard about Joe he has been a great friend we bowl together for over 35 years  Joe miss the last couple of years because he got cancer we had so many memories Joe definitely had kind heart made us laugh all the time Joe will be a big lose to you and your family I am sad I will never forget him I wish you and yours  family  well dam covid 19  with love  Dominick and Nancy Misuraca
