Joan Edna Lamkin, age 85, died November 25, 2016. She was born September 24, 1931 to Henry and Edna Niblett in Detroit, MI. Loving mother of Sharon (Jim) Lautenbach, Diane (Jim) Elmore, Hans Pankau, Joan (Pat) Maniaci, Heidi (Ron) Arseneault, Rebecca (John) Carver, and Rachel (Jack) Kominars. Dearest grandmother of Jim (Sonya), Jim (Milissa), Jeremy (April), Jill (Mike), Joshua, Ronald, Tori, Samuel (Laura fiancé), Joan, Courtney and Kaitlyn, and great-grandmother of 11. Dear sister of Jean Knight, and the late Eleanor (Ed) Arnold. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews She was a hard worker and raised her children as a dietary aide at Henry Ford Hospital and a custodian with Center Line Schools. Joan also leaves behind many special people at Regency of Shelby who took such good care of her. She loved them and they loved her back.
