James Harold Jeffries, age 77, of Clinton Township, Michigan passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021. James was born February 12, 1944 in Port Huron, Michigan to the late Harold Samuel & Mary Gwen (Bergstrom) Jeffries.
James graduated from Marysville High School. He was a US Army Veteran- Rank SP-5 stationed in Germany from 1966-1969. James played the acoustic guitar and the harmonica; sang folk, blues and country songs. He met his wife of 45 years at the start of a long career with credit unions, he retired as a Senior V.P. of Marketing. James loved to travel, animals, photography, art and sports; notably his Beloved Michigan Wolverines- which he was a football season ticket holder.
James was married to his wife Clara for 45 years, as she survives. He is also survived by a son, David James; a brother John (Vicky) Jeffries of Marysville; a brother-in-law, William L. Marchiori of St. Clair Shores; and many nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother Robert.
A memorial visitation for James will be held Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035, followed by a memorial service at 7:30 PM.
