George was the most wonderful, caring human being. George was born on January 4, 1942. After serving in the United States Army (1959 - 1961), George came home, met, and married Martha Joanne Johns on May 14, 1966. George loved his children, Laurel Ann (born 1970) and Michael Joseph (Michelle) Luttenberger (born 1976). George adored his grandchildren: James Edward, Erin Nicole, Kelly Elizabeth May, Nina Marie, and Sydney Joanne. George worked for 25 years at Blue Cross - Blue Shield of Michigan. When he retired, he and Joanne just enjoyed daily life. He was famous for being a Michigan Wolverines fan. He loved doing crosswords each day and going for his daily cup of coffee at Tim Horton's. George was just an honest, happy, and decent man, who loved his family and friends. He will be truly missed.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 3, 2014 from 2:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes, Clinton Twp., MI. A funeral service will be held Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
