Donald E. Nolan

Donald E. Nolan, age 88, passed away on July 5, 2021. Beloved husband of Agnes Nolan for 66 years; special dad to Pamela Bettini, Sandra Nolan and Belinda (Gary) Burns; cherished grandpa to Erin (Phill) Matero-Kennedy, Brittany Burns, Nicole Burns, Rachel (Neal) Squibbs, Erica Matero and Bryan Burns; brother to Marilyn (Ray) Pospy, James Nolan and the late Delores (the late Norbert) Darga; he is also survived by close friend Todd Hammond as well as many other nieces and nephews.

Don fought a courageous battle against ALS for 14 years. Don’s passions in life included fishing, hunting, the Raft (where he made numerous lifetime friends). Although, his greatest joy was his grandchildren. He was also a lifetime member of North Macomb Sportsmen’s Club.

The family will greet friends at St. Margaret of Scotland on Tuesday, July 13th at 10:30am until the time of mass at 11:00am. Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
