Beloved wife of the late James A. Cloud; adored mother of the late Terri (Tom), the late Jimmy, Gloria, Susan, Darlene, John (Rose), Shelly (Wayne), and David (Dawn); proud grandmother of 22 and great-grandmother of 17; dear sister of the late Herbert "Bud" Washburn, Gerald "Jerry" (Nancy) Washburn, and the late Susan (the late Phil) Washburn; sister-in-law of Viola Cloud. She was preceded in death by a dear friend Bernice.
Diane was born on March 23, 1938 in St. Clair Shores, Michigan to Donald and Mary Washburn. She married James on July 7, 1956 in Angola, Indiana. They remained married for 52 years and eight months until his passing. After raising her family, she returned to the workforce as Roseville School Bus Driver on the special needs run for over 16 years. Diane enjoyed family vacations and savored every minute of spending time with her children and grandchildren.
The family will greet guests from 2:00pm until 8:00pm on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Twp., Michigan. Funeral services will take place at 10:00am on Wednesday, August 30 at the above location. Visitation from 9:30 am until time of service. Interment following at Christian Memorial Gardens West, 521 E. Hamlin Rd., Rochester Hills, Michigan.
