David was proud of his time spent in the Navy serving his country from 1968-1971. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from Macomb Community College and went on to work at Chrysler as an electrician and in welder repair. He retired in 2015 after 40+ Years. On June 15, 1968, he married his beautiful bride Marcia and they had 2 children. Just recently they celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary at St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Dave enjoyed spending time with his family, taking car rides, going fishing, playing the organ,hosting poker parties and going out to the beach. He was the Patriarch of the family and had an answer for every question his kids asked him. A favorite trip they took as a family was up to Frankenmuth to enjoy each others company. David will truly be missed by everyone who knew him.
David is survived by his wife Marcia Williams; Children, Marcia Lynn (Jeff) Binienda & David Scott Williams; Grandchildren Kristin, Jeffrey Tylor, Whitney (Carl), Sarah, Samantha, & Madison; Sister Debbie (Perry) Spearman; Sister-in-Law Sue (Jim) Renehart & Lynn Williams and many Nieces, Nephews & Cousins.
He is preceded in death by his Parents, his brothers, Danny & Donald Williams.
A visitation for David will be held Friday, June 30, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035. On Saturday, July 1, 2023 the family will greet guests from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 AM at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035. Immediately following services at the funeral home a Graveside Service with Military Honors will occur at Resurrection Cemetery, 18201 Clinton River Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038.
