Daniel G. Howell, 60, passed away on November 15, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family. Daniel shared 35 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Lisa. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. A proud and dedicated father, Daniel was deeply devoted to his daughters: Jennifer Howell and Karen Treadway, who brought him immense joy and pride.
Professionally, Daniel was a valued member of the team at JD Power, where his dedication and hard work left a lasting impression. Outside of work, Daniel found joy in golfing—a sport he loved both to play and watch—and was an avid fan of many sports, particularly Detroit Lions football.
While his interests were many, Daniel’s greatest passion was his family. Whether it was spending time with his children, connecting with his siblings, or sharing special moments with extended family, Daniel’s life was centered around those he loved most.
Daniel is survived by his wife Lisa and daughters Jennifer Howell and Karen (Zachary) Treadway. He was the dear brother of Brian (Kristine) Howell, Greg (Mary) Howell, Judy (Larry) Dettloff, the late Robert (Mardy) Howell, and the late Joanne (Ronald) Smith. He was a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews and was preceded in death by his loving parents, Robert and Mary Howell.
A visitation for Daniel will be held Friday, November 22, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038. A rosary service will occur Friday at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Resurrection Funeral Home. Family and friends may visit the funeral home at 10:00 AM on Saturday.
