Remembering Chris here at  Bonita Pines Club where he was Vice President of our association 2003-2005. My sympathy to the family.

We just now heard of your Fathers passing.  I had the pleasure of knowing your Father during our youth baseball days and always thought he was one of the best!  Our prayers are with you all.

To the Romano Family,

I am so sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful boss, but more importantly, he was an amazing,caring, and kind man. I will miss his smile and his laughter.  He taught me so much and I loved the way he would always ask me to look up this or that. Or the way he would tell me to slow down, relax, and then tease me and ask me if I wanted come coffee. He had such a way about him, I will truly miss him.
So, Chris, I will just pretend that you are at one of your closings and take comfort in the fact that you are where you want to be; with your beloved wife. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being an incredible boss and a wonderful man. I am honored to have known you.

Jim and I were so sorry to hear that Chris had passed. Especially since I had just talked with him a couple weeks ago. He was a great boss with a great sense of humor.  It took me a while to get used to it, but then each time he pulled one of his pranks, I laughed till I cried. I will miss him very much. Our thoughts and prayers are always with you all.

Chris's smile and sense of humor will be sadly missed by all. Everyone has a best friend,Chris had the uncanny ability to treat many, many people as best friends.He will be sadly missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Romano family during this time of sadness...We have had the privilege to be Chris' neighbor for the last 13 years. He was always so kind and complimentary to us.  He always lifted our confidence as parents/homeowners  and would never hesitant to take the extra time to cross his lawn and express his thoughts and complements to us.  Our children have beautiful memories of Chris, as he would always lend his pond to their curious and exploring minds along with letting them release their captured toads or other creatures.  Additionally, we admired his character and sense that all things had value and he could find a place for it.  Therefore, during some home renovations, it wasn't uncommon for sliding doors, an armoire, table, etc., to be rolling across the lawn for one of his properties.  Reflecting on these moments and others, bring a smile to our faces and we feel blessed that we had a neighbor like Chris.  We are truly going to miss him... Continued prayers that the entire family has strength during this time of grieving and will experience God's comfort and peace.

Dear Romano family: I share the grief with you in Sibby's sudden passing and our love for him is forever.  My deepest sympathy goes with you and may you find peace and comfort. 
Sibby: It's difficult for me to understand your sudden passing. You're gone but not forgotten. My close friend for over 60 years. No more golf, playing cards, and so many times together. I will truly miss you.

Our deepest sympathy to the Romano family. Chris was a gentle, kind man who loved his family. He will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. I am sorry to hear that Chris has left us but I know he will be reunited with Pat and that will be a very happy occasion.  Your dad, brother, papa and great grandfather was a very kind and generous man.  He will be missed and loved.  There is a special place in heaven for him.  He was a very great friend to many and I was very proud to know him !

Joe we are so sorry to hear of the loss to the family. I only met Chris a few times. He was always polite and seemed to be a caring person. I am sure he will be missed by the family.

Good Morning Mr. Romano, how are you?  How can I help you today?  
The first time I answered the phone like that I could see and feel your smile through the air.  You actually hung up and called me back just so you could hear it again.  :)  I taught everyone else who sat in that chair to do the same.
You taught me a lot and I know I gave it right back, and I know that you appreciate my candor, quick wit, writing skills and nimble typing fingers.  
I will miss the playful banter and surprise bug carcass (whom I see you moved from the trophy to the flowers - think I wouldn't catch that?), and miscellaneous items you left on my desk or chair to find out what species is this or  where can I find this item locally, or what does this word we can't pronounce mean, to helping with your crosswords (though you didn't need much help with those). Mannequin hand and surprise mice. So glad I dished it back at cha.  You know you could be a real pain in my neck sometimes. But I thought of and respected you as a second father. I think you knew that. I am happy that I was there for you, to finally open up again after Patrica passed.  I never knew her here, but I know she was something special to you and you spoke to her every night. Thanks for sharing your stories with me. I appreciate all you have been to me. Not just an employer, but a friend too. Thank You. I am so happy for that last Hugg before Easter, it meant a lot to me. I sincerely hope that the bowling and golf in your new location are to you difficulty preferences. :)  Have a good night Chris.
