Beloved husband of 68 years of Eleanor; dear father of Susan (Dr. Ron) Laskowski, Mark (Lisa) Miller, Lisa (Paul) Kania, Jill (Joseph) Koterba, and Kristen (Suzanne Ronald) Miller; loving grandfather of Lauren (Kevin) Schreel, Lindsay (Justin) Hull, Hilary (Eric) Mancik, Adam Miller, Katie (Steve) Pacynski, Joe Koterba, Allison Miller, Shanell Kania, and Larry Kania; proud great-grandfather of Gracyn and Piper Schreel and Olivia Mancik.

Carl was born in Detroit on July 18, 1926 to the late Frank and Ann Miller. The family will greet friends on Friday, August 11 from 3:00PM- 8:00PM at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Twp. Rosary service at 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 9:30 am on Saturday, August 12, at St. Veronica Catholic Church, 21440 Universal Ave., Eastpointe. In State from 9:00 am until time of Mass. Naval Military Honors rendered following Mass. Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery.
