Robert Owens, “Bob”, age 59, of Sterling Heights, Michigan, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was the cherished son of the George W. Sr. and the late Sue Owens; Beloved brother of George Owens Jr. (Rhonda), and William Owens (Suzette); Loving uncle of James, Kurtis, Katrina, Leah, Alex, Stephanie and Stan; Treasured great-uncle of Calvin, Abigail, Zachary, and Oliver. Dear nephew of Roberta Decker, Madonna Anglin and Edward (Phyllis) Decker; Dearest cousin of Lauren, Brenda, Elizabeth, Cheryl, Matt, Jaime, Kim and Shelly. Bob was preceded in death by his brother James Owens and sister Christine Rzepecki.
Bob leaves behind a legacy of love, as he was a caring son, brother, uncle, great-uncle, and friend. He was the proud owner of The Lawn Bobber, a lawn and snow removal service located in Sterling Heights. He was an avid fisherman, gardener, and baked an awesome zucchini apple pie. He will be deeply missed.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Final resting place, Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, Clinton Township, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Macomb or an animal shelter of donor’s choice.
