Beverly Jane (Williams) Herig, age 88, died peacefully on March 19, 2019 at Advantage Nursing Home. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School Class of 1948 of Ypsilanti, Michigan. Beverly was honorably discharged as a Private from the Marines during the Korean War. After serving her country, she married Austin Herig and they were happily wed for 49 years. Beverly worked as a fruit basket maker for Rodnick Brothers. She loved to grow vegetables and flowers in her garden, can the vegetables and jams, and do any type of sewing and crafts. Beverly loved her chocolates, especially ice cream.
Beverly is predeceased by her husband, Austin and two grandsons, Brent and Sean Bonkowski and many sisters and brothers.
She is survived by her children; Timothy (Debbie) Herig, Daniel Herig, BarbaraAnn (Danny) Hemphill and Colleen (Brian) Bonkowski. She was a loving Grandmother to; Charles Hemphill, Katherine (Jerry) Rice, Amy (Ryan) Reynolds, Nathaniel Bonkowski, Andrew Herig, Angela Herig, and Natalya Bonkowski. She was a cherished Great-Grandmother to; Josephine Rice, Elinor Rice, Adryana Herig, Ainsley Herig, Hannah Reynolds and Logan Reynolds.
