Barbara J. Campbell, age 61, of Roseville, Michigan passed away on December 27, 2023. Barbara was born on November 20, 1962, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Lloyd Campbell and the late Elizabeth Campbell-Tribute. Barbara was educated in the Centerline school system, graduating from Centerline High School. She had a beautiful personality and began her career working in restaurants. Her passion for the industry led her to Temple Beth El where she catered for several years. In 2007 Barbara began working for Delta Airlines where she worked for over 15 years.
Barbara’s plan to travel to Hawaii were cut short by her illness in December 2023. Barbara loved her cats, shopping Amazon, crocheting, watching True Crime movies, and traveling. She especially enjoyed dressing her granddaughter Stella up during Halloween festivities. One year she bought four costumes for Stella to wear.
Barbara leaves to cherish her memory, a loving daughter, Rhiannon, granddaughter, Stella, Life Partner Kelvin, siblings, Louise (Denny), Jeanette, Robert, sister in law Bonita, and her three cats, Sylvester, Chloe and Tinker. Special family and friends, Juanita and Vicki Patrick, Cindy Kaczmarek, her Delta Family and a host of relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her brother William, and her mother and father, Elizabeth and Lloyd.
A memorial gathering for Barbara will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road in Clinton Township, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am.
