My sincerest and deepest sympathies to each of you for your loss.
Anne was my second oldest Sister. I'll always have fond memories of her. She was kind, loving and generous to me. She trusted me with...let me drive her brand new, navy blue Volkswagen by myself when I only 16. Anne was a very good person. She helped me in a number of ways:  How to make up my bed, select clothes to wear, match colors and advice in general. She even used to clean the wax out of my ears with cotton swabs. She looked after me. Looking back on our life on Willard in Warren (1944-1960), it's easy to see she was going to make a great Mom - she practiced on me!...and did so with a warm love, a smile and understanding. Thank You forever, Anne. You'll live on in my heart as a part of me. I'll always cherish our time here on Earth and will remember you well.
(I was the last Lesjack born and the last to learn about Anne's passing. I just heard about Anne's passing this morning, so I missed the funeral-memorial, but I'm sure Anne will forgive me for this late posting). I lost a great, great older Sister, but knowing Anne, she's probably still looking after each of us from her new, elevated state of higher consciousness somewhere in the cosmos or over our shoulders. You were loved by many and you was a wonderful Aunt. I remember so little of my short time I had with you. But I always remember loving the time I had at the young age at my Uncle Steve's and Aunt Anne's house. Running around playing with Gay, Coco, Paula and Paulene. I will always have that in my heart. Rest in peace now. I love you always.

Dear Barraco Family,
I first met my baby sister Anne in 1940 when our parents brought her home to that double-house we lived in on Knox Ave. in Warren Township.  Anne was the first one in our family born in a hospital.
"Sit back on the couch," Mom said to me, "and you can hold Dolly Anne."
I'm glad I got to tell this incident to Anne Aug. 17th. She was a warm, loving, forgiving person with a generous heart and I miss her dearly.
