It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend, Veronica Csutor Borsari on April 11, 2019. Veronica was born in Hungary on June 23, 1941, a daughter of her cherished parents, the late Istvan and Veronica Csutor and sister to her loving siblings, twin sister, Kathy Csutor Desnoyers and the late Steven Csutor. In the mid 1950’s the Csutor Family escaped Hungary on an extraordinary journey to the United States to begin a better life.
Veronica began her marital life in 1960 Westbrook, where she and her late husband, Ray Borsari raised their four sons Ray Jr, Ronald, Roger and the late Richard Borsari.
She went on to realize many goals and fulfill many dreams. She earned her degree from hairdressing school and worked as a hairdresser until her retirement. She owned her own home in Centerbrook. She adored her dog Caesar. She was a magnificent baker and a passionate artist and shared these talents often. Veronica was strong and independent, kind and compassionate. She persevered through life’s challenges with grace and humility. She appreciated the everyday gifts; sunshine, flowers, gardens and the ocean breeze.
Her family was her world. She loved her boys immensely and she was most proud to earn the name Grandmother. Left to honor her memory and remember her love are her Sons and Daughters-In-Law: Ray Jr. and Paula Borsari of Stratford, CT, Ronald and Heather Borsari of Montrose, CO, Rogerand Erin Borsari of Colchester, CT. Grandchildren: Kayla, Ryan, Ray III, Taylor, Ellesandra, Lexi, Alexandra, Olivia, Hannah, Ryeli and Ava. Twin Sister and Brother-In-Law: Kathy and Roland Desnoyers. Sister-In-Law: Judith Csutor. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Veronica cherished her dear friend and companion, Charles Lyman, who remained by her side respectfully and loved her unconditionally.
Friends may greet the family on Monday, April 22, 2019 from 5-7, with a memorial service starting at 6, in the Swan Funeral Home, 80 E. Main St., Clinton, Ct 06413. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to Branford Hills for the exceptional care given to Veronica during her residency.
