Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your's. We have very happy and fond memories of Sandy that will always be cherished.

I met Sandy when our kids were in elementary school. I volunteered with her and was always amazed by her energy and organization. I was never really sure why she needed me to assist her, she had everything under control, but was happy to be there for her!
One of my favorite memories of Sandy was the day she told the story of her wedding to Yvonne Kavanagh and me. We had gotten together to talk about cultural programs for the schools, but seeing pictures around the house got us started on this subject. She must have gone on for hours, details about the dresses, the people, traveling from NY to Boston to see both families, all the while pulling out pictures and describing everything. What an amazing story!
Sandy and I would always try to get together for coffee or lunch after we stopped doing the cultural programs together. It wasn't easy meshing schedules but she always made sure it happened. She would tell me all about Sam, Kim, and Andrea's latest accomplishments and adventures and it was obvious how incredibly proud she was. She showed me Tom's bonsai and talked about the events he went to and prizes he won. She didn't often talk about herself, but I do remember her telling me that her mother always said the reason she was so much taller than her sisters was "the good American milk" she had as a child.
I miss Sandy every day and hope that she rests peacefully forever in all of our hearts and memories. She was a rare, loyal, funny, energetic, caring person and a much loved friend. My thoughts are with you Tom, Andrea, Kim, and Sam.

What a beautiful service yesterday. It was truly a tribute to Sandy. She was loved and admired by so many people and it was obvious how she touched everyones life in a positive way. I know that I will miss her so much  especially at our family gathering. I always enjoyed talking to her. She raved about her kids and all their accomplishments. She loved you all so much. Sandy will be missed by all and the world is not as bright without her in it.

Dear Tom, Sam, Kim, and Andrea,
I am so sorry for your loss.  You have created a beautiful tribute to her life and everyone can see how much she was loved.  Sandy was a beautiful person, both inside and out, and a very dear friend.  She was always so much fun to be around.  I will always remember sitting with her at soccer games and talking together at band concerts.  She really loved her family and was her kids' biggest fan.  She was so proud of each of your accomplishments and you all had given her so many reasons to be proud!

To the Lees.
Auntie Sandy touched all of us. Even though i only got to see her a few times a year, i always looked forward to it. She was great to be around. 
When i was little and we use to come up on Friday nights, to sleep over for Sam and Kim, or Andrea birthday. On Saturday morning i usually woke up early while most of the house is still sleeping, and when i went down stairs Aunt Sandy was always there. She always complimented my hair, and asked about how everything was going. Also, as an amazing cook she gave great advice. Everyone will miss her terribly.

To the Lee family,
I knew Sandy as a member of the YNHH family and as the mother of two of our YNHH minority scholarship awardees, and also as the nurse who cared for my very dear friend John Roberts during the last days of his life in the MICU. I will miss Sandy, but will always remember her smile and her caring attitude. You have my deepest sympathy.

Lee Family,
   Words cannot express how we felt when we heard the news. We all remember Sandy as caring and a supportive mom be it on the soccer field, track or school event. Our deepest sympathy at this time. You are all in our thoughts.

I only knew Sandy from her niece Lisa entering our family through marriage. But I recall her humor and spirit.  You couldn't help but notice it and I will always remember that.

Mrs. Lee was by no means a big part of my life, but she will be so very, very missed nonetheless. My memories of her may be limited to soccer games, track competitions and school events, but from what I know she was a great woman who was involved with her family and it's truly sad to see her go.

             I know I wasn't very close to Sandy, but in the time I did have with her, she was the sweetest person ever. Everytime I came into that gym to go to a volleyball game, she was always there helping set up and being a supportive team mother. She would always say Hi to me and ask  how my shoulder was doing;I thought it was so nice. May my prayers be with you.

I worked with Sandy in the MICU for  ten years.....  
Words cannot express my sorrow for all of you during this time of intense grief and suffering. You will all remain in my prayers for as long as grief does last.
