It is with great sadness that the family of Mark Joseph Sherman announces his sudden passing on February 20, 2019. Mark will be lovingly remembered by all who crossed his path.
Mark’s early childhood and teenage years were spent in Clinton, CT. He attended Paier College of Art, pursuing his passion for art. He lived in Brooklyn, NY, Vermont, Martha’s Vineyard, on the Appalachian Trail and came full circle back to Connecticut. Brooklyn, however, always held a fond place in his heart. Mark’s careers were varied. He worked as a general contractor and a plumber’s assistant but recently began a dog training business which supported his art. He dreamed his art would “making it big” one day.
Mark cherished family, friends and his beloved dog Lily. His door was open to anyone wishing to share their lives with him.
Mark was a force to be reckoned with, living life on his own terms. His laughter and amazing sense of humor were infectious. Mark was a consummate story teller who filled a room with his presence. During family gatherings and parties, Mark charmed people with tales of his adventures and misadventures. He was exciting to be with. This dreamer never let go of the possibility that his dreams might come true. His life ended all too soon, to the great sadness of many. We feel blessed to have had him in our lives. “Who’s better than you”, Mark?
