Laura Ann Terrace

Laura Ann (Guglielmo) Terrace, 50, of Clinton, passed away unexpectedly on May 13, 2014 in Clinton, CT. Laura was born March 20, 1964 in New Haven to Joseph and Joyce Guglielmo, Sr. of Killingworth. Laura grew up in Wallingford, CT and was a graduate of Lyman Hall High School in 1982. She was formerly employed by FTD, Inc. in Centerbrook as a Senior Customer Service Representative.

Laura's greatest pride and joy in life was her daughter, Stephanie. Each day was another treasured opportunity for Laura to express her love as a mother; she delighted in every moment, cheering Stephanie on from the softball or soccer sidelines, rejoicing in her scholastic achievements, or the simple pleasures of a hug, a kiss or a smile. Laura gave from the heart tirelessly, to all of her family and friends, as the only way she knew how to be. She was loved by so many, and will be greatly missed.

In addition to her beloved parents and daughter, Laura is survived by her brother Joseph F. Guglielmo, Jr., and his wife, Valerie Guglielmo of Chester; her godparents Elaine Pacapelli of Clinton and Richard Guglielmo of Madison, and a large extended family.

In memory of Laura, a Christian Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 11am at St. Mary's Church, 54 Grove Street in Clinton. A church hall reception will be held directly after. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a scholarship fund for Stephanie Terrace.
