Erica Thomas

Erica Lunn Thomas, 50, of Chester, CT passed away on Tuesday, April 15th, 2025, at Yale New Haven Hospital after a long courageous battle with kidney disease. Erica was born on June 9, 1974, in New Haven, CT. She was a 1992 graduate of Valley Regional High School. Erica worked for several years as an Administrative Assistant at Daniele & Associated in Newington, CT.

She was the beloved wife of Terry Thomas and loving mother of Tatiana, Annabell, and Scarlett Thomas of Chester, CT.; stepmother of Ariana Thomas of New Brighton, MN.; cherished daughter of Robert and Sandra Lunn (Griswold) of Chester CT.; sister of Stephanie Conashevick (Greg) Conashevick and special aunt of Ryan and Hailey Conashevick of Wethersfield, CT. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her cherished Kings Charles Cavalier, Guinness.

Erica will always be remembered for her talents as a baker and gardener. Erica’s biggest passion was her children. She fostered several children before becoming an adoptive parent.

The visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd, from 4-8pm at the Swan Funeral Home, 80 East Main Street, Clinton, CT. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 24th at 10am at Deep River Congregational Church, 1 Church Street, Deep River, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Fund (https://www.kidneyfund.org).
