Debra Marie ”Cronin” Javor, age 59 of Deep River passed away on November 10, 2012. Debra was born on February 28, 1953 to the late Daniel and Florence (Parillo) Cronin. Besides her parents, Debra was predeceased by her mothers in law Anna Javor and Gloria (Voets) Javor. She is survived by her loving Husband David Javor; children Ryan and Anna Javor; sisters Antonia “Toni” Killion and her husband Mark of Branford, CT and Kathleen Helmer and her husband Charles of MacAllan, TX; brother Daniel Cronin and his husband Michael Romanowski of Westminster, CO; father in law Walter Javor, sisters in law Nancy Javor and Mary Beth Oakes of Clinton and brother in law Paul Javor of Warren, VT. She will also be missed by her nieces and nephews Tim Oakes, Lis Oakes, Kevin Javor, Caitlin Javor and Liam Killion.
Debra was a 1971 graduate of Branford High School and was a member of The National Honor Society. In 1976 she received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Connecticut. With her degree in Horticulture she went to work for many local flower shops. She had worked for the last twenty five years at Petes Hearth and Home in Guilford, CT. She was a true friend and maintained many lifelong friendships. She was a fierce competitor who won numerous racquetball championships. Her desire to be the best she could be was manifest in her many pursuits. Whether it was running, skiing, softball, mountain biking or tennis she would always try to be a little bit better with each passing day. There were never enough hours in her day. She could be found tending to her beautiful gardens, knitting, reading or caring for her adored children. She faced her passing with grace and dignity. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St Joseph Church in Chester on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 11:00 AM followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Westbrook.
