Christopher John Raccio

Christopher John Raccio, 23, passed away unexpectedly on December 5, 2022. Christopher was born on September 2, 1999 in Meriden, CT to John and Lorine (Russillo) Raccio and was a lifelong resident of Killingworth, CT. In addition to his parents Christopher is survived by his loving sister, Alexandra Raccio also of Killingworth.

Christopher attended and graduated from Haddam-Killingworth High School where he was an Honor Student. After High School Christopher was accepted into the University of Connecticut (UCONN) at Storrs, where he furthered his education as an Economics Major while also studying Business and Political Science. Christopher graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Political Science from UCONN.

Christopher was a parishioner/member of The Living Rock Church in Killingworth as well as active in weightlifting and martial arts. He practiced Jiu-Jitsu both locally and as a club sport at UConn. As a youth, he participated in Boy Scouts, the town Little League baseball and Middle School wrestling team. He went on to practice wrestling for the H-K Boys’ High School team. He also participated in several plays for the Drama Club at the Middle and High School levels.

Christopher espoused strong Christian beliefs. He frequently engaged friends and family in deep conversation and debate regarding theology and politics alike. He will be most remembered for his sense of humor, quick-wittedness, and compassion for others. He will be deeply missed by his many family members and friends.

Christopher’s Memorial Service will take place at The Living Rock Church in Killingworth (138 CT-81, Killingworth, CT 06419) on Saturday, December 17 at 10:30 a.m.
