Anthony P. Franco

Antony P. Franco, Jr., 79 husband of 58 years to Frances C. D’Amato Franco, of Westbrook, passed away on January 30, 2016. Beloved father of Christine Amarante (Richard), of Clinton, Lee Ann Jennett (Jack), of Westbrook and Steven Franco (Judy) of Salem. Beloved grandfather of Jason and Matthew Jennett of Westbrook, Nicholas Galley, Travis, Dalton and Giana Franco of Salem. Son of the late Anthony P. Franco, Sr. and Eva Niglio Franco Palmieri. Brother of the late Gerald and John Franco. Before his retirement, he was an Administrator of Environmental Services in several nursing homes throughout the State of Connecticut. He was avid fan of the New York Giants and Boston Red Sox. He greatest pleasure in life was spending time with his family, grandchildren and extended family. Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 5th from 8:30am-10:30am at Swan Funeral Home, 80 E. Main St., Clinton. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am on Friday February 5th, in St. Mark the Evangelist Church, 222 McVeagh Rd., Westbrook. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Westbrook.
