Rosa J. Velez, age 84, of Cleveland, peacefully passed away with her family by her side on November 27, 2020.
She was born in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Justino Santiago and Ernestina Rodriguez. Rosa is the beloved wife of the late Ony Olivera Velez; loving mother of Ony Velez Jr. (Elba), Thelma Morales (Chico), Yolanda Velez, Enid Velez and Annette Velez-Cotto (Daniel, deceased); cherished grandmother of O.J. Velez, Christina Alvarez, Carey O'Neil Morales, Miguel Rosado (Krissy), Joaquin Pimental (Natasha), Luis R. Rivera (Rocio), Jason M. Rivera (Roxanne), Veronica Martinez-Bennett (Ricky) and Jocelyn Caminero (Mitzy) and great-grandmother of 17; dear sister of Guillermina Negron; adored aunt of many.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 10AM at La Sagrada Familia Church, 7719 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland with committal services following at Riverside Cemetery.
