Ramon was born in San Juan, PR, the beloved son of Francisca Ramos. Ramon is the loving father of Sandee (Israel) Caminero, Justin (Christina) Vazquez, John Vazquez (deceased), Joseph Fuerst, Ramon Rodriguez and David Rodriguez; cherished grandfather of Destiny, Israel, Addison, Elias and Rosaleigh; dear brother of Ana Alvarez (deceased), Elba Casiano, Pedro Ortiz, Soraida Wintrich, Jose Ortiz, Maria Rosado and Michael Ramos; adored uncle of many.
Our father, also know as Tony to many, was a great blessing to our lives. He was a hard worker, an amazing cook with the gift of hospitality, a great conversationalist, and he could grow just about anything (most of us will remember his many avocado plants). Dad was not only a character at times, but a man with character. He modeled to us consistency, a healthy sense of pride, the importance of physical health, mental, and spiritual strength, generosity, and a straight forward honesty—with Dad, what you see is what you get. Above all these things, our father modeled love, repentance, forgiveness, prayer, and also thanksgiving to God for all he had in his life. Like Dad always said, “there’s always someone out there that has it worse.” He not only spoke these words, but experienced them first hand.
Dad, we we cherish the memories and times we spent with you. We look forward to the day we are reunited in heaven.
