Priscilla was born in Cleveland, the daughter of the late James Charles Thomas and Mildred Beatrice (Leverett) Thomas. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald Grant, who predeceased her on September 4, 2015; loving mother of Aaron Grant and Sabrina Horton; cherished grandmother of DiQuan, Raven, Marcelus, Madison, Erin, Jocelyn, Alexis, James, Christian, Christopher, Karter and Jaxon and great-grandmother of Ella, Mason and Kori; dear sister of June Booker, Leslie Thomas and the late Fay McGee, Gregory Thomas and Cedric Thomas; adored aunt and friend of many.
Priscilla attended Cleveland public schools and worked at a cleaners where she met the love of her life at 15. Donald and Priscilla Grant married in 1980 and shortly moved into their family home of 40 years on Baltic Rd.
In Priscilla’s past time she loved spending time with her family and attending family events. She enjoyed playing cards and listening to music or you could catch her on the phone talking for hours with her loved ones. In addition, she loved to play computer games with her sisters Leslie Thomas, June Booker and sister in law Debra Derrico. And above all enjoyed having a full house and being entertained by all of her grandchildren.
Last, but not least, Priscilla had an ear for anyone who needed to talk. She told you the hard truths but never made you feel judged about any situation. Priscilla was someone who you could come and talk and laugh with about any and everything. Undoubtedly, Priscilla had a lasting impact on whoever crossed her path. She was a mother figure to many people and opened her home to anyone in need. Priscilla Grant was a legend who will be remembered for her nurturing heart, acts of kindness, and the everlasting laughs.
