Dear family, I send my deepest sympathy and pray that the Lord will bring you strength and peace during this sad time! I was blessed to work with Mary for several years at Feed My Sheep, an ecumenical outreach ministry based at our church, when I was pastoring Redeemer/North Hill UMC.   She was a never-failing joy and delight as we worked side by side and shared stories, jokes, and memories of life in ministry.  I am heartbroken that I am already committed to be out of town on the day in which so many will celebrate Mary's life and witness!   I thank our good Lord for placing Mary in my life, though our paths crossed for an all-to-brief season and will keep you all in my prayers.
