Maggie F. Breazeale was born in West Minister, South Carolina on April 7th, 1926 to the late Fannie Foster and James Foster. She was one of 5 children, two brothers William Foster and James Foster Jr., and two sisters, Goldie Smith and Bernice McGee who preceded her in death.
Maggie met her husband Judge in South Carolina. They were married for over 65 years. Not long after getting married they made the decision to move to Cleveland, Ohio searching for better job opportunities. After moving to Cleveland, they raised three children together, Tony, Michael and Diane.
Maggie was a very generous and loving woman with a strong work ethic. She worked for over 20 years at the Cleveland Stadium. In her free time Maggie enjoyed planting vegetables in her garden with her friends and family. Maggie loved shopping and traveling the country with her sister Allene. She also loved watching her favorite tv soap operas. She spent many evenings enjoying dinner with her husband while watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.
Throughout her life Maggie loved spending time with her family. She loved hosting family gatherings during holidays and special occasions. The family and many friends she made throughout her lifetime were deeply saddened by her passing on June 23rd, 2023 at 6:01 pm. She was a great woman, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and member of her community. She lived a very fulfilling and meaningful life and will be dearly missed by her loved ones. Maggie is survived by her sons Tony and Michael, her daughter Diane, her niece Dana, her nephews Steve (Davida) and David (Angela), nine grandchildren and a host of other nieces and nephews and great grandchildren.
A visitation for Maggie will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cummings & Davis Funeral Home, 13201 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44112. A wake will occur Thursday, July 6, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, 13201 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44112. A funeral service will occur Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 11:00 AM, 13201 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44112. An interment evergreen cemetery will occur.
