I didn't receive this lovely email until a year later.
I will miss my dear aunt and all the wonderful visits that we had. She was the last link to my ancestors from Puerto Rico, the last elder and story teller. . Titi had some wonderful childhood memories with  her brother Jose, my father. 
 I loved her very much and will miss her. Cleveland is not the same without her.

My favorite (& only aunt) They said I looked a lot like her. She could never see me without remarking of how much I reminder her of "brother." She never wanted to see us go. There never was enough time. So sorry that Covid deprived us from coming together these past 3 years. I will always remember her energy, enthusiasm, gentleness, enduring love & constant faith. Oh, & her drip coffee, just like my mom used to make. So many good memories eventho life kept us separated for so many years. It never diminished the love & connection. 

Please send my condolence and sympathy to all the family what a blessed life to have I remember her and family as well.

I am so sorry for your loss Mama Josie sounds like a wonderful person who was greatly loved.

I loved to spend time with Josephine at our Community Center. She shared so many heartwarming stories about her home town and how much she loved her garden and her story about her journey to America. Beautiful lady. Beautiful soul. Rest In Peace. Our thoughts are with the family.


Mi nombre es Ilsia Alicea Pou. Vivo en Ponce, Puerto Rico y soy la hija de Nancy Pou  (hija de  Jose Pou que en paz  descanse). Por este medio me uno a la pena de la familia por la partida de Josefina. No tuve  el placer de conocerla en persona pero mi mamá me hablaba de que era una mujer fuerte y de grandes valores.  Ciertamente dejó muchos recuerdos y un gran legado durante su larga vida. Dios consuele y derrame su paz a toda la familia. 🙏🏻

Titi Fifa will have a special place in our hearts and thoughts! How can I forget so many special times that my family shared with her and Ari when they visited our home. My Dad used to take us to Peñuela to visit Titi and I will never forget how lovely and kind she was to us.  What a blessing to have her so many years! Su humilde casa en Peñuelas PR. Me refugiaba todos los Sábados junto a mi hijo de 3 años. Ella junto con Ati me enseñaron a amar a Dios. Sus estudios bíblicos, sus chistes, su amor fueron los que hicieron que hoy día tenga un hogar cristiano. Gracias por siempre hacerme reír y ver lo mejor de mi. Gracias por presentarme a mi Salvador Jesús.
