My prayers to the family. Mr Constanzo was my 
guidance counselor.  He was wonderful and caring  man and found the good in everyone!  I know he will be missed. Mr C was a very special man, everyone at South felt that way.  We were all lucky to have had him.

Dear Liz,
(Joe, Mike, Susan, Rosemary, Julie, Lisa, Sara, and Rachel)
I was so saddened by the news of your father's passing.  Although we shared common memories a long time ago, those memories have stayed with me my whole life and provoke many happy memories.  I did not know your father very well as a child but later on I enjoyed his wit and stories of the past.  I do know that he loved his wife, children and home.  He was very proud of his children's accomplishments. He was involved in politics and took an active interest in his community and those around him.  Joe was one of those rare individuals that after a brief encounter you would now exactly how he felt about his community, current events and most importantly to him, education.  Finally, I reflect on an afternoon vist with Joe when I was in my mid twenties.  Joe and I conversed about many things and was able to open my mind to look at what was and what could be.  Thank you.

Mr. Costanzo saw the worth in everyone, even if they didn't. He might call you a knucklehead, but it was said with affection.  He tried to improve where he saw a need -- whether in politics or with people.  He touched many, many lives and I will never forget him. He mattered! Liz and Family--We were sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I have many memories of him as we were growing up and whle our families drifted apart, it was good to be reunited, quite by accident, in Beaufort several years ago!  As my oldest cousin, I can remember how much he filled the room with his presence when all the relatives got together.  Being in South Carolina, we are unable to attend his funeral but send our deepest sympathies.  Tom and Linda

Great high school counselor!  I will always treasure our conversations (past & present) and his wonderful stories at the flea markets!  He will be missed.

Joe was one of a kind I was blessed to have him as my guidance counselor at Myron T. Herrick . I spend many a breakfast with him and the " Teachers " at the Red Chimmy on Wednesday mornings. One of our other breakfast group Danny Kane passed yesterday 24 Feb 2011.  Your families are  in our prayers. They will always be here in our hearts.

Joe, you will be missed. Mrs. Costanzo and family - My heart felt sympathy. He was a great guy with a great sense of humor. He will never be forgotten. I'm glad to have known him, and honored that he kept in touch with a few of us 'kids'.

Costanzo Family, I was very saddened to read today of Joe's passing. We shared many good times coaching bowling and taking turns running the high school league. He also sent me a great bunch of kids to work with at JMH. Rosemary and Sue, in particular, provided me with some of my best memories of teaching. Thanks Joe!  R.I.P. Don't think of him as gone away,
