It’s January 6th and I can’t stop thinking about you wela. I love you so much and I’m at peace because your at peace. Your always going to be a hero in my book, and thank you for everything and providing this family with everything, you will never be forgotten mama. 

It’s 3:50am January 4.2021 
I haven’t been sleeping well at all Grama. I miss you so much Grama I’d give anything for 1 more day with you. My first experience smoking a cigarette Nina and I went into your cigarette pack of Winstons 100s. We then went into the Bushes and had a puff it was the most disgusting thing ever I still laugh when I think about it. I also remember your favorite song lady in red I heard it so much growing up style one of my favorite old songs. 
You really left a lot of broken hearts here Grama.

I remember growing up and spending the night at Wela's with my sisters, my cousin Nina and Sito and/or Nicky. We would make us girls share her bed. Sito or Nicky would sleep on the couch drinking a bottle filled with either chocolate milk, or coffee! Us girls will have a pitcher of water next to the bed because we were not allow to get up once she laid us down. We will hear all the nightlife sounds of West 25th projects in the back of Riverview Highrise...she kept the radio low playing either Magic 105.7 or 104.1.
I love those memories.
Every event in my life I always made sure to tell Wela from school, prom, getting married, raising my kids around her, college, life in general.
My best memory was last year when she went to church with us for the 1st time.
We held hands and had cake afterwards. 
The Lord Jesus gave us a woman of power, faith and attitude. She left a legacy and we will honor her always.
Thank you God for everything, every moment, every conversation, everything.

My beautiful momma I remember this picture just like if it where yesterday 😢 I will never forget  momma and daughter day 😌 I kept my promise to you that at the moment of your passing I will be by your side , never to leave you alone. My heart feels empty I miss you dearly but I’ll be ok momma no need to worry about me you always said I was your guardian angel my job is now complete, your in better hands now God will take good care of you , Love you, my beautiful Queen.
