Freddie Lee Mapson was born November 5, 1965 to Queen E. Mapson and Freddie Lee Parks. Freddie was the oldest of three children.
Freddie accepted Christ at an early age.
He graduated and went on to attend college for two years. Freddie met the love of his life, Robin R. Reed in 1990. They raised two children together, Seane Diane Mapson and William Brent Dolch Sr.
Freddie was a gentle man with a heart of gold. He was very active as a young child, he would flip up and down the street. He was a lifeguard. Freddie worked at Sam’s Store on 67th and St. Clair for 16 years. He was a Butcher and was a Banquet Server for 20 years. He was an amazing man, father, son, brother and friend.
Freddie loved his family, he never met a stranger.
Freddie was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, aunts and uncles.
Freddie leaves to cherish his loving memories his wife Robin R. Reed; two children: Seane Diane Mapson and William Brent Dolch Sr.; his mother Queen E. Mapson; his siblings: Elizabeth (Ossie) Mapson, Albert Burell, Anthony (Latisha) Mapson and Daniel Smith; one aunt Trina (Aaron)
Mapson-Nickerson; one uncle Willie Mapson; six grandchildren: Ri’Leigh, Reign, William Jr., Ka’Marion, Zy’Seane and Perry, a special cousin he called big sis. Jacqueline Green and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A visitation for Fred Dawg will be held Friday, April 21, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cummings & Davis Funeral Home, 13201 Euclid Avenue, East Cleveland, Ohio 44112. A wake will occur Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM, 13201 Euclid Avenue, East Cleveland, Ohio 44112. A funeral service will occur Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 2:30 PM, 13201 Euclid Avenue, East Cleveland, Ohio 44112.
