Deepest sympathy to all the family. Remember when he was a teenager and helped our family harvest hay. He shared the same gift of humor as all the Plum’s. He always had something to say at the Newburg High Alumni to make us all laugh. Rest high on the mountain, Francis. May good memories comfort the family.

I am very sorry for your loss. Francis and my brother Gene Maxson were good friends in school so he spent time at our house. He was always nice to me, Gene's little sister. My prayers for peace  and comfort.

Sending my deepest sympathy for the entire Plum Family.... Francis always had a smile and was quick witted... My sweet memories were being able to attend church with the family... My happy and funny memory was  this ,     We loaded up the car and all of us kids sat in the back,, destination was West Virginia,,,,Once we arrived all the fun began,,,,Kids everyplace,,,, Well bedtime came so we all slept in the same bed,,feather tick blankets,,,well little did we know during the night somebody had to use the bathroom, that somebody had peed the bed and needless to say I was blamed for wetting the bed....I told the kids whoever did it better come clean, well of course nobody said,,, So I was the  culprit for wetting the bed,    After all was said and done we found out who wet the bed and of course It wasn’t Me..... You kids always were ornery.  I loved everyone of you and cherish all the memories....

Connie and family,

Francis was one of my big brothers growing up on the farm.  He pulled me in the sled when he and my mom walked  to Tunnelton to get groceries.  He was always my mom's 'favorite Plum'.   Francis never changed over the years.  He was a great great person.  I will miss him at the Plum Reunion (which he always called to make sure I knew when it was and to make sure I was coming).  You guys are all in our thoughts and prayers.   Sorry we cannot make it to OH.  Chuck's uncle passed away Monday morning.  God Bless you all.  A great family.
