Fidela Lozada

She was born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, and arrived to Cleveland as part of the Puerto Rican diaspora in the 1950's. She is the daughter of the late Raimundo Medina and Angelina Nieves. Fidela was the beloved wife of the late Deacon Frank Lozada, who predeceased her on July 14, 2018; loving mother of Carmen (Phillip) Alvarado, Maria (José) Santana, Susana (William) Serrano, Francisco Ph.D. (Wendi), Angel Luis, Sonia (James) Barrow, Noelia (DeAngelo) Royster; cherished grandmother of Sara, Michael, Isabel, Kristina, José Jr., Mario, Emanuel, Nicolás, Ana, Angel, Emily, Clarissa, Selena, Marc Anthony and great grandmother of Santiago, Luis, Leo, Ávila, Roman, Francisco and Amíla; adored sister, aunt, cousin and friend of many.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 15, 2023 from 4PM-8PM at Craciun Berry Funeral Home, 7200 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11AM at Saint Agnes Our Lady of Fatima Church, 6800 Lexington Avenue, Cleveland. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
