Betty Cerveny

She was born in Cleveland, the daughter of the late Joseph Yomnick and Magdalen Gliebe Yomnick. Betty was the beloved wife of the late Gilbert, who predeceased her on January 6, 2010; loving mother of Daniel (Barbara), Leonard (deceased), Frederick (deceased), Nancy (deceased), Mary, Christine (Erich) Geis, Mark (Pamela), Janice (Jerry) Brancato and Theresa (Andy, deceased) Jozwiak; cherished grandma of 25 and great-grandma of many; dear sister of the late Leonard (Peggy, surviving) Yomnick and Donald (Marilyn) Yomnick; adored aunt and friend to many.

Lifelong Cleveland Indians fan, she also enjoyed bird-watching and gardening. She cherished her family most and the many memories they created together. She was loved deeply and will be dearly missed.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 4PM-8PM at Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home, 14768 Lorain Ave., Cleveland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 10AM at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 13400 Lorain Ave., Cleveland, with committal services following at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Due to the current health restrictions, all services will be attendance controlled, face coverings must be worn, and physical distancing observed.
