On behalf of Andrés’ only surviving Cruz Aunt Poli, Uncle Guango and their children, we send peace, love, strength and comfort to the Castro and Fernandez family in this difficult time. 

Andrés’ impact on our Hernández Cruz family is profound.  Andrés was a natural leader who cared for and touched many lives with his love, kindness and spiritual gifts. Born less than three years apart, our Mom and Andrés loved and cared for each other as if they were siblings. We all keep remarkable memories of Andrés, every time he called; sent or shared memorable spiritual gifts, printed meditations or messages (that Mom kept very close to her); or visited our home in Puerto Rico.  We cherished the quality time he spent with us, willingness to offer a helping hand, and his passion for sharing God’s unconditional love. 

A truly inspirational individual, Andrés made an indelible impact in each one of us.  He possessed a unique ability to touch lives through conversations, mere presence and contagious joy.  
With heavy hearts, our Hernández Cruz family mourns the loss of this extraordinarily gentle soul and take comfort in the belief that Andrés is now in the presence of our Lord.

My condolences to the family.  May his soul rest in peace. A very good man and server of the Lord.  Andres, thank you for all the times you visited my mother at the nursing home. Thank you for bringing her communion and for singing and praying with her. All your service on this earth is like roses in heaven. May the Lord keep you in his arms. Pray for us!!!

Dear Family, 
Our prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Andres was a great human being, to my parents a nephew and to us a cousin. He had an awesome bond with our parents Felipe y Lula. 
The world left this awesome soul depart to meet The Lord. He will be missed by all.

I meant Mr Castro in the early 1980s he used to always love to talk. I will be going upstairs with his son Bo. We'd listen to some albums Black Sabbath Ozzy Osbourne Blizzard of Oz. I would still be at the bottom of the steps listening to what Mr Castro had to say. Bo would say hey where you at? I remember he always used to say I like you TJ and give me good advice and always say you're welcome in our home. I'm honored to have known you and your family like this.Thank you for all the Memories Mr. Castro... J.T.
