Aisha was born May 22, 2000 at University Hospital Of Cleveland, Ohio to mother, Phyllis McNair and father, Dewitt Townsend. Aisha attended Lexington Bell, St. Phillips IP NERI, St. Francis, St. Martin De Porres and St. Invictus High School, where she graduated from in 2018. Aisha attended Tri-Community College, as well as Cuyahoga Valley Career Center where she graduated with an Esthetician Certification. Aisha was a bright shining star of boys and girls – Hope, The Singing Angels, High Stepping Team, volleyball and basketball teams.
Aisha was so ambitious and full of life. She had many goals, always kept two jobs, never asked for anything, very helpful, determined & outspoken.
Aisha enjoyed singing, dancing, drinking her teas, doing facials, styling her hair, doing her makeup and nails and loved baking. Each birthday, her outfit wasn’t complete without a crown and a smile, because she was a true princess.
Aisha was preceded in death by her grandparents, Carrie McNair and Sonny McNair, Minnie Townsend and Dewitt Townsend; Aunt Joan; cousins, Benny, Charmine, Sharetta and Donald.
Aisha’s legacy will forever be remembered by those she left behind. Aisha was the baby sister to Laquell Ivery, Shanell McNair, Dewitt Townsend Jr., Shanetta (Shalia) McNair, Antaya Townsend and older sister to De’Von Townsend. Aisha was the auntie to eight nephews, three great-grand nephews (her TT mans), three nieces; five great-nieces (her TT babies); a host of aunties, uncles, great-aunties and cousins; her Godmother, Bonnie Sunlim, who calls her her “million-dollar baby”.
