Steven Neil Hochman

Steven graduated from Shaker High School in 1961 and attended the University of Cincinnati. He received his DDS degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1968. He served in the US Navy at Norfolk Air Station.

Steve’s proudest accomplishment was raising his 3 children and watching them become parents to his wonderful grandchildren.

Beloved husband of 56 years to Renee (nee Garson). Son of the late Sol and Ann (Dworkin). Devoted father of Dr. Eric (Kim) Hochman and Dr. Todd (Shelly) Hochman and Dr. Darci (Dr. Judah) Friedman. Loving grandfather of Cameron, Jordan, Samuel, Ari, Elijah and Lydia. Dear brother of Linda (Mike) Hirsch and brother-in-law of Stuart (Cheryl) Garson, Nancy (Dan) Garson-Angert, Barry Garson (deceased) and Nancy (Regin) Schlachet and son-in-law of the late Barnett and Esther Garson. Dear uncle to many.

Services will be held at Berkowitz Kumin Bookatz Memorial Chapel, 1985 S. Taylor Rd., Cleveland Heights, Ohio 44118 on Sunday, March 2nd at 10 AM.

Interment will follow at Bet Olam Cemetery (Park Synagogue section), 25796 Chagrin Blvd, Beachwood, OH 44122.

Family will receive friends at the residence of Darci and Judah Friedman, 32340 Woodsdale Lane, Solon. Ohio 44139 on Sunday following interment until 8 PM and Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm.

Donations in Steve’s memory can be made to Park Synagogue, Hospice of the Western Reserve or a charity of choice.
