My mom is very special and I miss her everyday. Thank you all for the kind words. Together - in her honor - we fight on.

So sad to hear about Simone’s passing. I met Simone from tennis and mutual friends . I will always remember her smile and laugh. Several years ago, I went on a road trip to the ATP Tennis tournament in Cincinnati with Simone, Lori and Barb. We had a lot of fun. May her memory be a blessing. My condolences to the entire family. Dear Simone,
This wasn't how it was supposed to be.  We were going to grow old together we said in one of our first Happy Hours together and keep our husbands working to support our fun.
From the first time I met you at CVAC, we started a myriad of memories, from making all of our poolside BBQs, celebrating Jewish holidays with our families, winning quatas in mahj(yes IN the pool), partnering in Canasta and collecting victories on the tennis court. And I do remember dancing on the tables together at a party or two!   Ricky is right, you have a winning smile, one I loved to see, and I'll never forget your laugh.  And boy we shared a lot of them even when we spoke Yiddish with each other.
You did work hard, Simone, and created quite a legacy;  your exceptional husband, children and grandchild.  I know how close you are to your brother and sister in laws and Ricky's family too.  You had it all.
I will miss you so much and what should have been.  

Dear Rick & family-so so sorry to hear about Simone’s passing. Ben and I have many fond memories  of our times with you both…we’ve lost touch over the years but I’ve never had so much fun while working as I did with Simone…she always made me laugh until I cried! Remember the Brown’s games that Dr. Whitman took us all to? And going to Simone’s baby shower for Kelsey was also a great memory-it inspired me to have my first baby! A memory:  “That’s so nice”, that’s what we would say to each other as a greeting.  No matter what,Simone was always so sweet to every patient. No matter what they talked about Simone would reply sweetly “that’s so nice “. Of course,   I would tease her about it and over the years no matter what happened or what was said, her and I would have a glance and say “that’s so nice”.  So here’s to you Simone.. on your next journey..

Beautiful and vibrant Simone.  Whether playing tennis or mahjong or cards or the stock market- she excelled at them all.  It is said that the value of a person’s life is measured by the amount of people they touch in living it.  I think it’s obvious just how  well lived Simone’s life was.  We will all miss her and cherish our memories of the times we spent making them with her.  You left way too soon Simone but touched so many while you were here.  So many!

One of my favorite birthday memories with my “honorary sister”  I will miss you dearly!

I send my love to the family. I always remember that warm wonderful smile when seeing each other  you weren’t my neighbor at Hunters Run long enough.    But a great friend through the years.  Loved seeing you and the girls for the yearly get together with Shelly.   And of course  you and Rick.   What a great loving couple.  We always enjoyed our time together. Her love will stay with us all 😘
