Sharon Beth Blumenthal (nee Ungar). Beloved wife of Phillip. Loving mother of Elyssa (Josh) Olgin, Adam (Elana) Blumenthal and Danna (Jay) Hoegler. Devoted grandmother of Zachary, Brett, Aiden, Saige, Blake, Reese and Hayleigh. Cherished daughter of the late Rosalind and William Ungar. Sister of Elliot Ungar

Sharon began her career as an elementary school teacher, sharing her knowledge and wisdom with countless young minds. Sharon found her calling as a religious school teacher at Fairmount Temple, where she dedicated over 30 years of her life to imparting the values of Judaism and community to her students. Her devotion to her faith and her role as an educator left an indelible mark on the lives of those she touched.

Beyond her career, Sharon was a remarkably talented artist. Her specialty lay in the intricate art of hand painting, a skill she honed with passion and precision.

Sharon's entrepreneurial spirit led her to discover a new path. She began crafting personalized gifts, starting with handmade baby bead bracelets for newborns. Her creativity knew no bounds, and her talents blossomed into Initially You Too, a personalized gift store that became a cherished institution on the east side of Cleveland for over 30 years. If you lived in the area during this time, chances are you've received or given one of Sharon's thoughtful and personalized gifts for birthdays or graduations.

As she approached retirement, Sharon adapted to the changing times, transitioning her store from a brick-and-mortar establishment to an exclusively online platform. Her dedication to her craft never waned, and she continued to bring joy to countless people through her unique creations.Sharon's greatest joy in life was watching her seven beloved grandchildren flourish. From attending school concerts to cheering at sporting events, she was their biggest fan and unwavering supporter. Sharon and her loving husband, Phil, were blessed to have all three of their children and all seven grandchildren living in Cleveland with them, creating a close-knit and loving family bond that was truly exceptional.

Sharon Blumenthal's life was a tapestry of love, creativity, and dedication. She touched the hearts of many with her kindness, artistic talents, and unwavering support for her family. Her memory will forever live on in the lives she enriched, the art she created, and the love she shared.

Services will be held Monday, January 15 at 1 PM at the BERKOWITZ-KUMIN-BOOKATZ MEMORIAL CHAPEL 1985 S. Taylor Rd. Cleveland Heights, OH. 44118. Interment Mt. Olive Cemetery

Family will receive friends at the residence of Danna and Jay Hoegler 7301 Capilano Dr. Solon, OH. 44139 MONDAY FOLLOWING SERVICES UNTIL 8PM, TUESDAY 12PM -4PM & 6PM-9PM.
