Sanford enjoyed traveling, especially through national parks. He enjoyed taking his children and grandchildren on special vacations. But most important to him was family. There was nothing more important to Cookie than taking care those he loved. He cared for his beloved wife, Rosalind, until her end. He devoted his life to his children and grandchildren. He just wanted to care for his family and keep them safe.
Beloved husband of Rosalind (née Escvovitz); devoted father of Jeffrey Gaffin and Sherry Klein; loving grandfather of Brian Klein and Lindsey (Michael Bartholme) Klein; dear brother of Bernice Brown and the following deceased: Fanny Edelstein, Arthur Gaffin, Martin Gaffin, Mickey Gaffin and Jacey Whitman; cherished uncle of many and friend to many more.
