Born January 10, 1947 to Frank and Elaine Garron (of blessed memory) in Cleveland, he attended Shaker Heights High School and The Ohio State University, where he met the love of his life, Leah.
After trying different occupations, including teaching middle school, he became a salesman at Jade Sterling Steel in Twinsburg, eventually working his way up to becoming a partner in the company. After retiring in 2008, he trail monitored with the Cleveland Metroparks and volunteered with Youth Outdoors, a program that introduced inner city youth to outdoor activities and as well as with the Rescue Village Animal Shelter in Geauga county.
His love of sailing and fishing kept him on the water for many days. His love of travel took his family and friends to many parts of the world. Rounding out his love for nature, his land activities included hiking, camping, biking, and throwing balls to his furry friends.
He was adored by his wife of 53 years, Leah, and cherished time with his son Craig (Eric), daughter Jenna, sister Sondra (Herbert) Kupersmith, sister-in-law Paula (David) Warren and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1pm, January 31st at the Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel at 1985 S. Taylor Road in Cleveland Heights, 44118 with Interment at Zion Memorial Park in Bedford Heights.
Shivah will follow interment at Executive Caterers at Landerhaven in Mayfield Heights from 3:30pm-7:30pm.
