In addition to his parents, Nathan was predeceased by his brother, Phillip Kurtz, and sister Mildred Grossman. Nathan is survived by daughters Susan Kurtz of Tucson, Ariz., and Jacqueline Kurtz of Columbus; sons Keith (Darlene) Wasserman of Athens, Ohio, Jim Wasserman of Santa Cruz, Calif., and David Wasserman of Newport Beach, Calif.; stepdaughter Kay (Wayne) Coggins of Nashville, Tenn.; stepson Lee (Anne) Kribbs of Knoxville, Tenn.; sisters Roz Varsano of New York City, and Sheila Bloch of Philadelphia; sister-in-law Inge Kurtz and her family in Cleveland; nieces and nephews in Texas; and cousin Louis (Josephine) Muller and his family in Cleveland.
